Howzit Chris and welcome to the site.
I was also a big military modeller until I started building proper models Smile
Hey, Is Tommys Toys still open in Rosettenville? Used to have a nice stock of old kits.

Hi Steve,
Well and yourself? Military Modelling is great but a little restrictive. At best you can depict a certain vehicle from a specific theatre of operations or sprcific battle. Apart from super detailing or diorama's you can not incorporate your own mods and ideas. Tommys Toys havee moved from that location to another shop, also in the South. I am trying to locate it. Had some great deals from him years ago. Bought three 1:16 kits from him on a sale for R12 each and an AMT 69 Impala kit (no chrome parts ) for 25c. ( currently on the bench ) Will post pics in due course.

You are dead right there Chris.
Milmods were cool but there are only so many versions of a tank you can build Very Happy
25c for an Impala... wow!
If you could let me know.
That area was a bit dodge, so glad they pulled out of there.
